Through a literature review and analysis of recent statistical data, it demonstrates how the lack of boundaries and values in the family environment has transferred responsibilities to the school that exceed its primary function, resulting in professional overload and deterioration of teachers' mental health. It proposes a critical reflection on the need to rebalance the responsibilities between family and school to preserve the sustainability of the teaching profession.</span></p> Rodrigo Nóbrega Martins Copyright (c) 2024 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://portalee.com.br/index.php/repc/article/view/150 Mon, 09 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 School Management and Student Leadership https://portalee.com.br/index.php/repc/article/view/140 <p>This article addresses the intersection between school management and student empowerment, emphasizing the importance of management practices that promote active student participation in the educational process. This phenomenon, which can no longer be ignored, reveals itself as a symptom of profound social transformations that have redefined contemporary educational dynamics. The alarming data on sick leave, absences due to psychological disorders, and the growing number of teachers undergoing treatment for burnout syndrome highlight a disturbing reality. The school environment, once recognized as a space for the construction of knowledge and values, has become a scene of extreme tensions that compromise not only the physical and mental health of educators, but the very quality of the educational process.</p> Rodrigo Nóbrega Martins Copyright (c) 2024 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://portalee.com.br/index.php/repc/article/view/151 Mon, 09 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000
