Abstract

This research thinks about the contribution of Social Service in school, working in the educational sense of providing new discussions, working interpersonal relationships. The motivation for the reflections presented here arose from the professional concern in meeting the demands of the challenges lived in the daily life of the school. In this sense, it should be said that if the object of the profession's activity were even the social action of the oppressed class and, moreover, because it is already inserted in this wonderful world, but no less worrying and challenging, which is education. The methodological choice was based on a bibliographical review, whose development was through research studies already carried out by several authors, with their references preserved. This study aims to contribute to the support of the school and its other professionals in addressing issues that are part of the training and professional work of the Social Worker, about which the school often does not know how to intervene.
