Abstract

This article addresses the intersection between school management and student empowerment, emphasizing the importance of management practices that promote active student participation in the educational process. School management is presented as a set of actions aimed at organizing and optimizing the educational environment, while student empowerment is understood as the ability to take an active role in their learning and in decisions that impact their daily school life. The research revisits concepts of democratic management and student participation, discussing how including student voices in management practices can strengthen the development of critical and autonomous citizens. By exploring practical experiences and theoretical frameworks, the study aims to provide support for educators and administrators to implement strategies that value student autonomy, contributing to a more inclusive and high-quality education.
